Gravy Train

More Connections - More Joy - More Brunch

Increasing the awareness of a scratch local eatery in Omaha and the surrounding area

From the Farmers Market to the Food Hall

Serving Omaha and the surrounding area scratch recipes made with local ingredients is what Gravy Train strives to deliver.

Founder Meghan always knew her scratch biscuits and gravy was exactly what the farmers market in Omaha needed. After a more-than-successful trial run, Gravy Train is rounding out their third year as a farmers market staple with an extra spoonful of joy, and hungry for more.

Early August 2022, Inner Rail Food Hall in Aksarben became the new home to Gravy Train, an Omaha-born scratch biscuits and gravy eatery offering a variety of flavors, menu options, catering, and yes, scratch biscuits and gravy.

Capping off their third summer at the farmers market has allowed Gravy Train to open more spaces for catering your next event. Whether it's a family get together, a football watch party, or brunch with your sweetie; Gravy Train has all the cozy options to bring those you love together.

With one goal to fill the plates in Omaha, the founder is also cooking up plans to foster more connections with Omaha foodies to help other entrepreneurs get started in their food businesses.

Being part of Kitchen Council is another passion for founder, Meghan. Kitchen Council is a local organization that helps food entrepreneurs get started, and with her knowledge and expertise, Meghan is driven to foster connections between new entrepreneurs with other seasoned food start-ups and offering her own guidance as the newbies begin their journeys.
